He is very cute, his father thinks that he is just adorable. However, he is capable of destroying a house in a single morning. For example. Yesterday, I was upstairs getting Caleb in the bathtub, when who should show up. His older brothe-yes, the 3-year old, Braden. "Mom, I want to take a bath with Caleb, can we have bubbles too?" I didn't think that would be a problem. So there they are playing in the bathtub and having a great time. I decide to hurry and put a few things away in my bedroom. I hear a thud, and go running into the bathroom only to find Caleb crawling out of the bathroom with Braden spraying him and the walls and floor with cold water. Well if I'm being sprayed with cold water you can bet I'm out of there too.
Later in the day I put Caleb down for a nap and I was balancing the checkbook downstairs on the computer. Braden-the 3-year old that is for sale, comes down and is playing in the office behind me. He gets up and goes over to the piano and plays around there for a while. I finish what I am doing and decide to run out back to get the chicken eggs-believing that Braden would continue to play at the piano. I come back into the house to find him bending over the piano with a mechanical pencil in hand as he uses all of the strength he has to "CARVE" lines onto the wood cover that goes over the keyboard of the piano.
Hence, the decision to see if anyone would consider paying for someone to come in and destroy their home. I told Corey that I do not believe that parents are meant to have anything nice in the home until all of the kids are grown and moved away. Since 3-year old little boys can and will find every way possible to destroy a home.
Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-14976331842050087112009-09-01T22:14:00.008-06:002009-09-01T22:42:21.189-06:00School's InAugust 24th. The first day of school for Blake. He was up by 5:45 am. Asking his dad if it was time to get ready for school yet. No, the bus does not come for another two hours and fifteen minutes-Please go back to bed. Well, Blake is really liking 2nd grade. His favorite subject this year is math. He did not have any of his good friends from last year in his class but he does see them at recess so it's not so bad.

In may of last year when Kaitlyn went to her Kindergarten testing there was a question on the page, "Would you like your child to attend all-day kindergarten?" I was so excited to think that I could have her attend all day kindergarten. Wow, I could get so much accomplished if I did not have to worry about being home in the middle of the day to get a Kindergartener off the bus. So of course I put yes. Then I asked what the requirements were. I was told it was for students that needed extra help. I thought there would be no way that she would need that, after all she was pretty well prepared to start kindergarten. She recognized and could write almost all of her letters and she was also able to count to 100. Well, the week before school was to start I received a call from the school. They asked if I was still interested in having Kaitlyn go to all-day Kindergarten. Well who wouldn't want that, they wanted her to be in the class as a model student. And so Here she is on her first day, August 27th. She is bursting at the seems with excitement. Not only is she starting Kindergarten but she gets to go all day and even eat lunch at school like the big kids. The first day ended and she arrived home. Her dad asked how it was? All she could say was "TOTALLY AWESOME" He asked how was lunch and again got the same answer, "TOTALLY AWESOME." I hope that that attitude will carry with her for the next 13 years and she will continue to love learning.
Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-12977791337263930932009-08-01T11:59:00.010-06:002009-08-01T14:07:35.697-06:00Where did he come from?

Well this week I decided I would try to work on cleaning the windows and blinds. Before I could finish though I needed to wash down the 3 barn sparrow nests that are in the eves of the house outside my bedroom window. Then he usually finds the stairs and it's time to chase him up and bring him down again.

He loves to play with his siblings and they have had a lot of fun this summer playing with him. Last December while Corey was in Vegas for a week I threw a fit when our phone/internet was down for 3 days. So I drove to Salt Lake to mom's to use her phone and call the company to come take their equipment. Little did I know that neither Qwest nor Comcast had any intentions of coming out to service BFE. So I swallowed my pride and ordered back the crappy internet/phone service that I had had earlier.

Now that this is back it's time to catch up. Blake is almost finished with 1st grade. the things that he has enjoyed most are recess and chasing the girls. He has made a few friends along the way and is even learning to read and do some math. He says he wants to be a paleontologist or a scientist when he grows up. He is salso enjoying playing baseball-he has really improved here. Blake will be a "tumbilino" in the 1st grade circus. This is a 30 year tradition in Grantsville and the whole town gets involved. At the Easter Egg hunt in Grantsville Blake made a killing. We had sent him over to his age group as Corey went with Braden and I with Kaitlyn. Anyhow, when Corey went to find him he was sitting in a pile of candy loading it into his bag a fast as he could. All of the other kids just gathered the larger prizes like kites and hula hoops and left him and a few other kids to gather the candy.

Kaitlyn finally turned 5 and is really excited to start Kindergarten. She asks me everyday if today is the day she gets to go to school. She will be in thd gymnastics final program on Saturday. She has really loved going to gymnastics and cannot decide if she wants to continue with this or do dance in the fall. She had a great Easter holiday as well, especially when Nicole and Paul and their family came and roasted hot dogs and Peeps, and colored Easter eggs-that weren't raw this year.

Braden is growing up fast. He states that he is not a baby anymore. His favorite thing to do now is to play the WII, especially boxing and Star Wars. He is enthralled with Darth Maul and Darth Vader. He will be turning 3 in a few weeks.

Caleb is getting big fast as well. He was over 24 inches and 18 lbs at his 6 month visit. I would not be surprised to see him grow taller than his brothers and dad. He is always exercising-doing push-ups, as he is trying to learn to crawl.

Yes, Corey is still driving 100 miles a day to and from work. He still talks of that "million dollar check" arriving, I have yet to see it.

I started back to work as well and have enjoyed working with the family that I work for. I take care of two of their 20 children during the night. NO, that is not a missprint. They have adopted 19 children for a grand total of twenty. They are and amazing family.

Last Feb. we also adopted 8 of our own. That's chickens not children. We were feeling a bit left out when all of my family had dogs-we thought it might be better to have chickens so that when the hard times hit we will at least be able to eat eggs or the chickens, and what will the rest of them have? Chinese????

We hope you are all well and look forward to keeping this up again.

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-22542560187175040412009-02-09T08:00:00.005-07:002009-02-09T08:20:11.347-07:00Taking the EIGHT challengeI noticed this on Shantel's blog and since there isn't much to talk about lately, I will give this a try!

8 FAVORITE TV SHOWS

1. The kids are fun to watch at this age. (pictures are coming)Santa Clause was able to find us in Grantsville (Kaitlyn was worried)

Reflecting on 2008, brings many thoughts to my mind. All in all I think the best part of 2008 for us was the second that it turned to 2009. Goodbye and good riddance.

All and all it has been the toughest year of our married lives. In all seriousness as I reflect back on this year, it truely has been one full of faith promoting experiences and we have spent most of the year in the refiners fire - at least it feels like it. We have been greatly blessed through it all and most of those blessings have come from and on the behalf of family. 2008 for us will always be the year of the family, when we felt the most love and the most kindness and the most sincerity from our families and when we needed it the most. We can never say thank you enough for our families - NEVER! We do hope and pray that Heavenly Father will open up the windows of heavan and pour out His many blessings on all of the members of our families.

We wanted to list all of the many wonderful, kind and thoughtful things that our families have done for us, but it would be too long, so again - thank you to our families!Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-86729166653926153602008-12-22T11:19:00.003-07:002008-12-22T11:31:36.645-07:00A FEW MISSED POSTS<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 133px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvKaTiGJZBiKYx6Phu5DoAUQMk4jzDvCHd-q0BcKwMgF9GyTWXt00arxtCQjzG3vuOu2Qj8C7RoCxr4sIexHnyPEgGrZlDOewDTBLoj_DQvwqmpSV-K7PNQD_LIAIjcHJqR0mjhPPZv3nd/s200/Blake.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282683374253528226" />
ALright we have not had internet (or a phone) for a while so we have not been able to post. Therefore here are a few missed posts from the past month.

Post 1: December 16, 2008: Grantsville is beautiful and peaceful and it doesn't snow much out here, but the WIND BLOWS (it actually sucks because it blows so hard). I went to Las Vegas for a conference on Sunday, December 14, 2008 and wasn't able to talk to my wife for two days because we have satellite phone. The wind blew so hard that it was not functioning. My beautiful wife had enough and does what she always does when she gets extremelly frusturated. She fixes it. She cancelled our existing phone and internet service and we are still waiting on QWEST to hook up our new phone service. In other words we have no phone! Paul Van Dyke was verry gracious in helping us rewire the phone in our house and loaning us his cell phone so Rayma could communicate with me in Las Vegas! As of this post we are still without a phone and Rayma no longer has a cell phone, so it will be a quiet christmas!

Post 2: December 11, 2008: Blake Celebrated his seventh birthday. We are very grateful for him and his engergetic personality. He has also grown into a big helper and really enjoys school and has turned out to be great reader.

Post 3: December 10, 2008: Caleb had surgery today on his herrnia. It turned out to be two herrnia's and he had water collecting around his testicals. So he actually had four procedures done. He was under the anesthia longer then we wanted, but everything turned out well. I am gratefull for the priesthood. We were very nervous about the surgery prior to the surgery and I had the opportunity to give Caleb a blessing the night before and the spirit was strong and confirmed he would be okay.Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-31350133384250297512008-11-30T19:52:00.000-07:002008-11-30T19:52:13.354-07:00<img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXpLX13Rc1dEOh6dWLkb_RqR3IpgwzA2onNo2HxwkxmMk7VwdWgtdX1Os_SekYBDLgXl8igPeTco64Ja-FnnIBXY5jyKYQuXQXFRZggxb2CXo1DDAS7FbKPyR2H4qmKsg1_MifnlC6xu2w/s320/Primary+Kids+2008+073.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;' />

We were very grateful this thanksgiving to have everyone on the Hobb's side (except Michael and Shantel and their family who we missed dearly) at our house. We have a great time. We ate way too much and then we ate some more. We were grateful that all could make it out to our house safely and we could spend some time together. We spent most of the time visitng with each other and learning why Twilight is an aphrodisiac for some. We also found out that Susan can read. Well we knew that she could read, but we found out that she does read and Tony likes it when she does, because he can play uninterrupted for hours on his Wii.It would take too long to recount all of the things that we are grateful for this year and the many miracles that have transpired in the family over the past little while. It sufficieth to say that we are forever indebted to our Heavenly Father for our many blessings including this wonderful family.

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-22679356083601265412008-10-30T13:44:00.000-06:002008-10-30T13:44:20.972-06:00

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-80711415126890233332008-10-30T12:57:00.000-06:002008-10-30T12:58:00.760-06:00Painting Pumpkins

Sorry, it has been a while since we last posted (not getting much sleep!)Things are going well. First and update, we are doing well. Rayma wishes the baby would come, but she still has 2 and 1/2 weeks. Blake's best friend in Grantsville who used to live down the street moved and he was devastated until we found out he was only moving three streets away. Braden has decided that he loves to play the Wii. His favorit game is "baseball bat". Blake is doing well in school. He scored a perfect 100% on his first ever spelling test. He also spelled all 4 bonus words correctly. Kaitlyn, continues to develop into a helpful girl and her a Braden have become great friends since Blake went to school.

As you can see from the pictures some of our favorite things to do is read. The kids love to read books, color, and have books read to them. Braden has found out about hats lately. He loves to wear them loves to wear two at a time-as you can see.

Blake loves to play the Wii. He is so funny to watch. When he runs he pumps both his legs and arms. Dis feet are moving as fast as his hands and he gets tired really quickly.

Kaitlyn loves to play the piano and dance around the house. She is always doing pirouettes around the house.

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-51978789224915295612008-09-24T09:03:00.000-06:002008-09-24T09:25:02.325-06:00Blake "Mom, my lunch $ account is low"Well this morning as I was helping Blake to hurry along to get ready for school and not miss the bus he said, "Mom, my account is low." "What do you mean I said?" My lunch money account is low. Well at the beginning of the year I had sent 15.00 which equated to 10 school lunches. He has learned his student number now and has purchased a few milks when I did not send a drink in his lunch box, but they are only 25 cents a piece. I have recorded that he only ate school lunch 5 times the other days I have packed a lunch for him-and on many occasions he does not eat it all but will sit down at the bus stop on his way home with his friend and they will finish his lunch there.
So I called to school to see what the balance was. She said he had $1.15 left, and she would send home a report. After hanging up the phone I was very confused and said, "They don't know what they are doing down there."
Blake then pipes in to say "Mom, did you know that they have breakfast at school?" I said "yes", and then Blake's response was "I have been eating breakfast at school." "Oh really," I said, "and, about how many days have you done this?" He held up six fingers.
Well come to find out his best friend eats breakfast at school and he decided to join him. We talked a bit and decided that he could do this on occasion, but he needs to let me know so that we can keep track of the money in his account. He really does not need to eat two breakfasts a day and should be able to eat his lunch during lunch time as well. So with a little communication you can find out that school does not need to be just a big food buffet, but can also be a place for learning.

Gotta love those little ones as they learn and grow-RaymaCoreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-51400223867689217672008-09-21T18:17:00.000-06:002008-09-21T18:18:31.545-06:00Weekly Update<img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuiS-Zt-5_J5-VMcg9e1OMc41rZZbHDVWtxDmkA662SotqEIwx1km0Xz_ssE721HnfqexKzyjBk8FZjMwYBUc2vrCXq-_CkLt8TQ2wihQJfLNCRmWI0h20LIDxHjajZEwZbYB089oknZij/s320/LW4T0003.JPG' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;' />

Not much happened this week. Blake was a little sick with a fever but made it through. Rayma received some good news from the dermatologist this week. He took the last of her stitches out and said all the skin cancer was gone and she just needed to check back in six months. We are very grateful for that.

Only 5 more weeks until the baby is born. We are still debating a name we are down to three. Corey Bryson Bullock, Bridger Corey Bullock or Carson Corey Bullock. Chime in if you like one or the other.

Corey was called to be Young Men's President in our new ward in Grantsville. He will be very busy. Other than that we are doing well and are grateful for the many tender mercies and blessings that Heavenly Father continues to bless us with everyday. Hope all is well!

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-60713329468909648812008-09-15T19:10:00.000-06:002008-09-15T19:10:16.962-06:00

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-64069622488520784042008-09-15T19:06:00.000-06:002008-09-15T19:06:05.094-06:002008 Trip to the State Fair<img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZlq75MVZXw5Kpc6hOgEPv2DR7bNvwxuRT7oBaZ8G_T0Mm62Ox_oyTjTv5nJd3wwgMsT8A8l8onb5aLy64jc0fiECJQIYOLGNMxE1t-XrNSsob8veSF939DFy8ws79r5MxM1S1d_iACiMN/s320/Primary+Kids+2008+073.jpg' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;' />

First of all I would like to apologize for posting so many blogs on the same day. We are trying to catch up.

Also I would like to apologize for Blake in the photo. He has been drinking contaminated water since we moved to Grantsville and it affects him in wierd ways.

We had the opportunity to go to the 2008 State Fair. The kids loved the animals, especially the reptile exhibits. They also loved little hands on the farm exhibit. The photos really tell the story. The photos were taken on Thursday, September 11, 2008.

Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-89754929445879389272008-09-15T10:48:00.001-06:002008-09-15T14:01:24.737-06:00UpdatingWe are new at this blog thing so a little updating.

We have moved to Grantsville, Utah into a new house (yeah! we get to put in ANOTHER yard!). We have lived in our new house for three months now and realy are starting to enjoy it. It is so peaceful.

Rayma is due to have our forth child on October 19th-23rd (I know I thought that was a long time to be in labor too, but that is when she says the baby is due). My guess is that it will probably come October 9th or 10th.

Blake has started first grade at Willow Elementary School in Grantsville and rides the bus (which he loves). We had a little trauma yesterday as Blake lost two more teeth (he has now lost 6). It probably would have been easier to get gold out of Fort Knox then teeth out of his mouth. I am still nursing three bite marks on my fingers. It was quit an ordeal.

Kaitlyn has decided she wants to be a gymnast (we didn't watch any of the olympics, did we?!?!). She also is becoming very helpful around the house.

Braden, is growing and has such a great personality. He loves to tease but hates to be teased (sounds like his dad).

Anyway, we will be adding some pictures and more posts in the future!Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285866715366029434.post-43202821257465329162008-09-05T11:09:00.001-06:002008-09-15T10:48:05.044-06:00Why I created a bloggI created this blog because certain people wouldn't stop bugging me to create a blog. Holy Cow! It's like your not cool if you don't have a blog or something!

Well, umm... you know... I must have a lot of empty space in my head (why did I start a blog in the first place)...anyway!

Holy cow, this thing really works. I just now received a phone call from a very well recpected royal family from Africa offering me the investment opportunity of a lifetime. All I have to do is give them my bank account number and they will deposit millions of dollars into it. What luck and all of this because I have a blog. I wasn't cool before, but now I am all that and a kit kat.

Which reminds, I haven't had any lunch.

See you next time!Coreyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06724784201713902689noreply@blogger.com1
